Maple Bee - Chasing Eva
Bic Runga - Beautiful Collision
Seether - Disclaimer
Tina Dico - Far
Catie Curtis - A Crash Course In Roses

Ahh I like the Bic Runga album. It's very good. I remember hearing her on Mark Radcliffe's Radio 2 show a while back and taking a punt on the album. I wasn't disappointed.

To be honest I can't remember if I have heard any of her music. All I know is she has been on me want list and finally I have got it cheap.

New buys:
The 411 - Between the Sheets
The Wildhearts - Best Of
Add N To X - Add Insult To Injury
Keren Ann - Nolita

Ol' Rounder In The Iron Mask- 07-06-2005
The Arcade Fire - Funeral

Heard one superb review too many

James Brown - Live At the Apollo

Because, you know...was cheap, meant to be life-changing.

Haven't played either yet.

staticqueen- 07-07-2005
The Pastels 'Up for a bit with...'
Sufjan Stevens 'Illinois'

Yet to listen to either though, but i like everything else that ive heard from each so here's hoping...

WithAnR- 07-08-2005
Katy Carr - Screwing Lies
Rachel Fuller - Cigarettes & Housework
Mary Lou Lord - Got No Shadow
Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth

Ol' Rounder In The Iron Mask- 07-08-2005
Ramones - Anthology

Ee, it was cheap

Meh, can't get Illinoise in any stores here (though at least they do stock Sufjans others....)

What's the Hard-fi album like? im umming and ahhing about getting that one, but I like what ive heard so far (ie the singles)

Hard Fi album is pretty good. It does tail off a bit near the end though. But it's a promising debut. I'd give it 7 or 8 out of 10.

I could always do you a copy of it if you like.

Whereas Sufjan Stevens album is great. biggrin.gif Listen to it now! hehe

Aaaw, thanks, that really nice of you to offer. I have a thing about cds though, so think i may eventually bring myself round to the prospect of buying it

Bought Joseph Arthur 'our shadows will remain' today. Going to see him in a few weeks and am very excited, so long as he plays 'In the Sun', one of my all time favourite tracks & it makes me cry every time i hear it.
