is a film called "memento" on tv this week? i have been assured it is allright , although i arent convnced my kind of thingie. but from the little i know of it, it seems faintly//fatuously related to Me, ie no memory// notes.

if it IS then can someone record it for me?

Anyone catch Arlington Road last night? Was a thoroughly good flick, jeff bridges bringing across his celebrated screen presence as ever (all hail Lebowski). Tim robbins also good but not in bridges' league on this occasion; full marks for the badass ending too, nice to see a hollywood movie without hollywood schmaltz.

As for Apocalypse Now afterwards: Genius.

oooh, thats a blooming marvellous film. If you havent seen it go out and do so right now. And its got Callum Keith Rennie in it (if only for a bit), which makes it even better, if such a thing were possible

There's a nice little feature on the DVD where you can watch the re-edited version of the film that progresses chronologically, it's not as good as the original of course but it does help to explain things.

It's edited terribly!!! A eMac with Final Cut Pro and a copy of the DVD would give a much better version.

Just saw the grudge (US remake) on crappy DVD pirate. Having seen the Japanese version of Ring, I was struck by the similarity. Still fairly effective though, if a little too slick.

it's a crap christmas comedy without the redemption of being seasonally quirky or funny. it's just so fucking depressing.
