A totally commanding screen presence and absolutely fucking brilliant in Blade Runner, which is one of my all-time favourite movies. And yeah, I'd probably pick Hamlet over Lear myself.

Verbosity and an ability to find appropriate quotes are enough signs of intelligence for me more than I can manage at any rate. Anyway, I really do hope you enjoy English, obviously all unis are different but I like it here at Liverpool (although a couple of the modules have been incredibly boring I suppose that's just to be expected from time to time, especially if they're compulsory. Even then no doubt they've been useful. Probably.)

Random observation on the male leads though, they must represent the most masculine collection of voices ever assembled in a single movie.

Benico Del Torro, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Michael Clarke Duncan...they even gave Michael Madsen a little role in there! Even Clive Owen was left sounding like Joe Pasquale next to that lot!

Tellingly, the only lead without an alpha male voice, Elijah Wood, didn't speak at all. Something in that I tells ye. And the bar scenes were crying out for a Tom Waits cameo before i even realised this. They missed out there.

Jessica Alba is beautiful. Didn't really like the Old Town storyline though - it was entertaining and Miho was a great character - i know it was tongue in cheek, but it was a wee bit, well, borderline misogynist for me.

Mickey Rourke stole a wonderful show. Amazing movie. All must see it.
