Seen a ghost - although it was of my grandmother's old cat, which seems a bit dumb in retrospect. Also had a strange feeling of darkness and dread at about 11pm last Tuesday - the exact time she died.
Anything else? Oh yeah, I thought a doppleganger of me (with a pierced eyebrow) slammed into me in the Sheffield Corporation a few years back, but that was probably a coincidence...
When my dad was a kid and shared a bedroom with half of his 10 siblings they had a cradle containing one of my younger uncles and my dad, his brothers/sisters and my grandparents saw a young girl standing beside it at night on separate occasions, upon enquiring about the cradle they discovered that the people theyd bought it off second hand had a daughter that died young which is why they sold it on. My grandad chopped it up straight after they found that out and she was never seen again.
Also, my dad is a big fan of stargazing and on the night of my mum's mother's death (or one night soon after) he was out looking at the stars and he looked at the plough constellation and said "if you can hear me marge, send a shooting star thru the plough" or words to that effect, and thats exactly wat happened straight after hed said it. It sounds cheesy i know but my dad is the type of guy who doesnt bullshit anybody and wen he told me that it kind of gave me a different perspective on fate. Not particularly spooky but a strange coincidence, if coincidence it was. I just like the thought that hundreds or maybe thousands of years ago there was an interstellar collision that led to that piece of debris hurtling thru our atmosphere at that precise moment in time.
As im finishing typing this my dog has been barking in my mum and dads room for bout 10mins on and off (as he does every night for unknown reasons) and just as i shouted "shut-up" my dad did at the exact same time. He didnt appreciate the pinch but it'll be worth it if the wish comes true...
Have we any UFO observers on the forum? Thats one thing id like to see, though itd shit me up as much as itd amaze me.
