Americans got to the software market first and wrote most global standard programming languages, including HTML, which is what this web page (and most others) is written in. We could write our own version of HTML, but that would mean we'd need to write some sort of interim language so Americans can see UK web pages, and that would mean lines and lines and lines and lines of code. Understandably UK programmers can't be arsed just so we can have a 'u' in 'colour'. Just imagine how pissed off French people who want to write web pages manually must be.

ok ok i kinda knew that already i did some IT GNVQ and its all coming flooding back now... html and stuff. but its still why it took so bloody long how to figure out how to do it...
actually it was my bad memory.

Did you go to t'gig? what did you think? I found it most pleasing on the ear, especially the new (untitled) song

yeah i got there. and i thought that new song was good. the whole set was. enchanting. i heard a few days later that he did a second gig which i missed the following day which would have also been good to see as aparantly it was at a bar somewhere. exclusive like. but ah well. next time.

Yes i read about that too, one of those annoying little gigs that i never quite manage to find out about until a few days after. bah.

and, while ive been unable to come on here for the last few weeks due to technical problens, you'll be relieved to hear that i got tickets to this astoria gig in march. slightly scary though, the popularity which is accumilating about him... he wouldnt have been able to do the astoria... even last year. how limes change.

Well he's played the shepherd's bush empire, which is fairly large. Although i still remember the olden days when he played at camden dingwall's. Sean hughes was in the audience, looking fat and haggard. oh happy days.
I recently realised that i've seen Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst more than any other band.
