I got the live CD of the Pixies gig I went to in New York just before Christmas, and I'm rather delighted to see myself in the crowd shot on the inner sleeve. Partially obscured by someone's arm, but I know it's me, dammit.
So, anyone else got other claims to fame - I think this may have been briefly covered on the old board, I forget.
Non-music ones will do too, of course. I was also in shot in the audience on Question Time in about '93. As insignifcant claims to fame go, it's right up there.

I was in the audience of "topical"-news-debate-blah-programme, 'Central Weekend', years ago.
I think one of the guests was somebody who claimed they could talk to trees, or something. Rivetting viewing(!)

Erm, other stuff that I can't be bothered to type or is just way too boring!

In my class at primary school were the daughters of Brian May AND Midge Ure.

I was also on songs of praise once in my primary school choir.

And yesterday I washed my hands next to Les Dennis.

That's nothing, I saw Jim Bowen in a pub in Menorca in 2001.

I *almost* went on Richard & Judy's C4 programme a few years ago. "Almost" being the (thankfully) operative word... still got a day off school out of it though. And on an Isle of Wight ferry about 10 years ago I saw and possibly (I can't remember) spoke to that pair from Birds of a Feather. Schtunning!

this is fairly DEPRESSING stuff.

John Squire's brother Matt took photos of Johnny Vegas buggering me over a stack of newspapers. which is kind of music related.

Those Disclive Pixies albums are a very good idea indeed.

Since the main one is too embarassing to mention in public, I guess strolling onto London Tonight, Match of the Day and Gazetta Football Italia are worth noting. As is telling Ricky Gervais (arrogant, obnoxious twat that he is) to fuck off in full view of a bunch of fawning zealots.

I was on a plane to and from Crete a couple of years ago with Rory, he kept putting the seat back and annoying my very tall dad who was sat directly behind. Then he kept stalking us and we saw him nearly everywhere.

Other than that... had to step off a pavement into the road once to walk around Lee Hurst at the Edinburgh festival.
